Purina Busy Bones. Honest to god — my dogs go absolutely bonkers for these. Got two pups, one's like 5 pounds soaking wet and the other is a solid 50, and both of them lose their minds when they hear the bag crinkle. The tiny size is honestly the way to go, even for bigger dogs. Just the right amount.
Quality is great, made in America which matters to me. Never had any tummy issues with either dog and they've been eating these for ages now. The resealable bag is a nice touch too — keeps em fresh forever it seems.
One thing though... Amazon needs to pack these better. Got mine crushed under protein shakes once. Still — love the product!!
These Busy Bones were such a good surprise. My dog is a 60-pound chewer, not subtle at all, and most treats disappear in two minutes flat, which is annoying when the bag only has three and costs basically too much for what it is.
Here, you get a bigger pack, and the bones are actually hard. Really hard. I tried breaking one and nope, not happening. That thickness matters, honestly, because it keeps him busy longer and out of trouble for a while, which in my house is almost priceless. He grabs one and marches straight to his bed like he just won something important.
The peanut butter smell is pleasant, no weird chemical odor. He loves the flavor, leaves nothing behind. I also like that it’s Purina, a brand I already trust for food. Only small caution: these seem pretty calorie-dense, so I watch portions. Still, for durability and dog happiness, these are a win.
My dogs went absolutely feral for these the second I opened the bag. Like — embarrassingly excited. Tails spinning, jumping, the whole circus.
Purina Busy Bone Peanut Butter Chews are genuinely one of the better things I've bought for them lately. The peanut butter smell hits you immediately when you open the pack — and honestly? Smells pretty decent even to me, which is weird to admit but here we are. My guys each grabbed theirs and disappeared to their spots like they had important business to handle. That focused, settled energy is exactly what I wanted.
They're made in USA facilities which — look, that matters to me. Purina quality, no rawhide, good size for medium dogs. The bones are dense and hard, not crunchy like a biscuit, more like... they soften up as the dog works on them. Fair warning though — don't hand one over on your couch. Drool situation is real.
Chew time varies depending on your dog. Bigger, more aggressive chewers might polish one off faster than you'd expect. But for a few solid minutes of pure bliss and distraction? Worth it completely. Also — 343 calories per bone, so keep that in mind, not really an everyday thing.
